Popular Services at PT360
Physical therapy has been rapidly growing in popularity for the last 20+ years. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of physical therapists is projected to grow 28% from 2016 to 2026, which is much higher than other work forces. This is due to an increased demand for not only managing chronic pain and cases, but shifting the focus of treating pain and disability in other ways besides pain medication.
PT360 has been in the Chittenden County region of Vermont since 2010. We now have four locations including Burlington, South Burlington, Shelburne, and Williston that can serve the needs of patients and help them on an improved path to wellness. Our South Burlington location opened in March and is the newest addition to the PT360 locations, based inside Rev Indoor Cycling.
In the month of June, we are highlighting some services offered at PT360. We narrowed it down to some of the most popular and well-utilized services to help promote wellness and improvement in our patients. Check our website or call our offices for specifics on dates, times, and any further questions or information that you are looking for!
Free Injury Screens
Offered at all four locations, patients can be seen by a clinician to decide whether physical therapy may be appropriate. By reviewing your medical history and injury, we can recommend the next path for your injury: should you be seen by your doctor, start physical therapy, or try a couple of easy exercises on your own to help with your injury? Free Injury Screens can help patients feel comfortable with taking control of their pain and/or injury.
Four Locations
We are now better able to serve more Vermonters! With over 20 clinicians at our four locations, we have physical therapists, athletic trainers, physical therapy assistants, and massage therapists who can offer you help and flexibility with starting the physical therapy process.
Aquatic Therapy
Both our Shelburne and Williston clinics have 92° salt-water pools in which we can conduct therapy, as well as have classes available for exercise. Aquatic Therapy can begin with a skilled clinician and patients often transition to use of the independent pool routine. Patients can purchase a pool pass and schedule to use the pool independently when it is most convenient for them. This helps transition patients out of physical therapy when they are ready to graduate and gives them peace of mind that they have a safe place to perform their exercises. This helps patients continue working towards good health and staying pain-free!
Integrative Dry Needling
All four locations also offer Dry Needling services. Dry needling uses monofilament needles (the same needles used in acupuncture) and they are put along the body to reduce muscular spasms and pain. The needles not only create micro-circulation in the body, but also reduce the neurological component to pain. It has been shown to be effective for headaches/migraines, shoulder dysfunction, neck pain, hip bursitis, and many more conditions.
