Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a manual approach to balance the soft tissues that influence your comfort and support your postural alignment and functional mobility. The process includes an assessment of the postural alignment, pain history and symptoms and then progresses to establish a plan of care that will include skilled and self-care approaches to reach the desired goals. The manual approaches address the fascial system directly, which is the basic fabric that creates all of the body’s parts. Pain and limited mobility are related to restrictions in the fascia and can be addressed very effectively, especially if initiated soon after the initiation of the symptoms. This is a patient interactive approach that can empower the person struggling with pain with tools and support for their healing process.
