PT360 Athletic Trainers Go Beyond The Clinic

PT360’s team of Athletic Trainers have expanded beyond the clinical setting for sidelined sports medicine contracted coverage to the University of Vermont Club Sports and Vergennes High School.

Brendan Copley, ATC, MBA provides athletic training preventative coverage and emergency care for all UVM Club Sports. He diligently communicates between the teams for scheduling availability of athletic training services and coordinating their care with the PT360 Burlington clinic should further rehabilitative services be necessary. While on site, he is available for urgent and emergent cases and triages the situation for office follow up versus the emergency room.  Coordinating with local EMS teams, Brendan collaboratively manages all Club student athletes
care!

Kurt Johnson, ATC is the on-site Athletic Trainer for daily athletic training coverage at Vergennes High School. This is Kurt's second year in the position and he is an excellent compliment to
care for all middle school and high school student athletes participating in each level of school sponsored sports. Kurt has been an integral part of the COVID team to prevent further virus
transmission within the Vergennes community and coordinating with school administrators/nurses for essential care for the student body!

Both Brendan and Kurt are an integral part of the PT360 cooperative team-building community.  From concussion management to orthopedic injury, having an Athletic Trainer outreached into the community helps to bridge the gap for return play. Strength and conditioning fundamentals with individualized development of a focused based plan of care are essential to success with base fitness foundations. The complementary team between PTs, ATs and PTAs at all PT360 locations allows for a more thorough plan of care that makes communities better together!
