Tim Dix, PT, DPT, CSCS

Physical Therapist

Tim completed his clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in 2023. Prior to attending PT school, he earned his Bachelor’s in Biology from Susquehanna University in 2016 and worked as a personal trainer in New Jersey until moving up to Vermont. He was originally a certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise, but later obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. During his time as a trainer, he worked with a variety of clientele that ranged from young athletes for sports specific training to older adults for maintaining general fitness and function. Over the years he developed his training style by teaching proper body mechanics when performing exercises to maximize effectiveness and maintain joint health. He now incorporates his style of training into his practice of Physical Therapy to not only manage symptoms and improve function, but to also prevent re-occurrence of injuries and improve quality of life. His special areas of interest that include working with post-operative ACL reconstruction, patients who sustained orthopedic injuries, and return to sports rehabilitation.

Tim enjoys spending his free time playing sports, skiing, hiking, and hanging out with his friends. He also likes to travel and used to scuba dive in the Caribbean with his dad and wants to return sometime soon. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles (go birds!).
