If you have never tried yoga before, this series is perfect for you! It is designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga, as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic poses. Poses are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing and meditation techniques are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, back-bends, forward folds, and hip openers. Emphasis placed on student understanding, safety, and stability with each pose.
Class size is limited to allow for adequate distancing in our facility. Participants are required to wear a mask into our office but may take it off in class once appropriately distanced.
