Emma Sturm, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Emma is a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, NY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science (minor in Psychology) and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Emma grew up in Huntington, VT and she was introduced to the Physical Therapy profession by growing up playing in her mom’s PT clinic. “My mom’s job satisfaction inspired me to pursue physical therapy, and my experiences shadowing in PT re-assured me that I would love working in the profession. It is truly so rewarding to help others return to the activities they love.”

Emma is interested in treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries including pre- and post-operative care, acute injuries, and chronic pain conditions. She particularly enjoys using aquatic therapy and techniques such as, trigger point dry needling and instrument assisted soft tissue massage. Emma additionally believes in treating the whole person and working on areas such as stress management and education to promote independent management. In her free time, Emma enjoys hiking with her husband Branden and spending time on the water with her two dogs, Axel and Brooke.
