Kurt Johnson, ATC
Kurt is a Certified Athletic Trainer who graduated from Castleton University in 2018 with dual degrees in Athletic Training and Allied Health Sciences. He also participated as an NCAA student-athlete playing for the school’s Ice Hockey team and serving as team captain for two years. Upon graduation, he worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for Green Mountain College. In addition, he has worked with a diverse group of athletes, including Middlebury Hockey and various high schools in Chittenden County. In 2017, Kurt presented at the annual SHAPE conference in Killington, VT on the importance of biomechanics and posture for adolescent athletes. He actively works as the Athletic Trainer for Vergennes High School and St. Michael’s Rugby.
During his free time, Kurt enjoys cooking, hiking, and volunteering his time to coach youth hockey.
