Fit Over 50 FUNdamental Series for Strength Training
Looking to get into strength training, but unsure of where to start? Join this 4-week series taught by Jen Farrugia, MS, ATC, CSCS to work on form, mechanics and general movement. We aim to build muscular endurance through progressive body weight movements each week. This introduction series that will teach you the movements you need to maintain muscle tone, bone mineral density, increase flexibility, stability, and restore core strength – no weights! Just bodyweight, TRX, and medicine balls. We will learn the basics of how to integrate dumbbells and kettlebells into our fundamental movements once we have mastered the basics.
