Heather received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut in 1994 and earned a Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Florida in 2002. Her advanced degree included National Certification in Massage and Bodywork from SunCoast School of Massage. She has a diverse background working with Division I and Division III collegiate athletes while employed at Colby College (1994-2000) and the University of Vermont (2002-2006). She has also served for the United States Olympic Committee providing medical coverage for the Under 17 Developmental Hockey Programs for several years. Heather specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation for the physically active. She integrates prevention and education within her plan of care while utilizing her manual therapy/massage skills. Her specialties in massage include Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial, prenatal, and orthopedic/sports massage. In her free time, Heather enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, and camping with her husband Alex, son Niko, and daughter Ella.
